Cultivated at Hortus Upsaliensis, Sweden. Seed source: According to Turner and Triplett (1996) seeds of Milleria quinqueflora were collected by Mr. Millar in Campeche, Mexico in 1734. These seeds were sent to Linnaeus by Mr. Philip Miller (Botanical Gardens at Chelsea, London). Holotype (1031.1 LINN)
